Yoga Classes Coming to Immersive Van Gogh Exhibition in Detroit

Tickets Are On Sale Now for Classes Beginning Sunday, Oct. 23

DETROIT, Mich. – Lighthouse Immersive, producers of the original Immersive Van Gogh exhibition, is partnering with certified yoga instructors to bring Detroit yoga under The Starry Night. Beginning Sunday, Oct. 23, patrons of all fitness levels can sign up for Immersive Van Gogh Yoga. The classes will be led by a certified yoga instructor from Detroit’s own The Trap Yoga & Massage Studio and will take place inside Lighthouse ArtSpace Detroit (311 E. Grand River, Detroit, MI) within the all-encompassing Immersive Van Gogh gallery. Press are invited to the first class on Oct. 23 to participate and cover. Plus ones welcome.

The Trap Yoga & Massage Studio provides a yoga experience that allows every person to get rid of expectations and enjoy life as it is dealt. Moving through the raw and genuine elements of yoga sparks an understanding that people from different cultures can share the same intricacies with the help of funky beats.

Founder Jamel Randel incorporates music, dance and yoga as a way to introduce the practice in a fun yet informative way. Jamel has taught and spoken on the benefits to thousands in his hometown of Detroit, MI and across the country. Jamel believes that the way towards a life free from restriction is by embracing the uncomfortable parts of your life story and inspiring others to do the same.

Admission is $49.99 per person/per class. Tickets are on sale now. For more information, visit the Immersive Van Gogh Yoga webpage. Guests should arrive dressed for classes and should bring their own yoga mats.

Immersive Van Gogh was designed by creative director and Italian film producer Massimiliano Siccardi, with original, mood-setting music by Italian multimedia composer Luca Longobardi, who provided a score that combines experimental electronic music with pure, ethereal and simple-seeming piano. Vittorio Guidotti is the Art Director. Wander through entrancing moving images highlighting brushstrokes, detail and color of some of Van Gogh’s most famous works of art. The exhibition includes monumental depictions of Mangeurs de pommes de terre (The Potato Eaters, 1885), Nuit étoilée (Starry Night, 1889), Les Tournesols (Sunflowers, 1888), La Chambre à coucher (The Bedroom, 1889), and so much more.
