Attempted Home Invasion, Vehicle Stolen From Dealership in Bloomfield Township
A drive-off at Dick Scott and a damaged window during an apparent burglary were among recent police reports.

Officers with the Bloomfield Township Police Department investigated an attempted home invasion in the 3000 block of Shallowbrook last week, reports said.Â
The homeowner told police that someone removed a screen from a window and smashed the glass sometime on Nov. 22. Investigators determined no one entered the house and nothing was reported stolen, reports said. A K-9 unit tracked a scent for a short distance, but did not locate a suspect. No suspect information was available and the investigation is ongoing.Â

The employee did get a copy of the man's driver's license, and investigators are trying to locate him, officials said.
