Elderly Motorist Injured in Bloomfield Township Road Rage Incident
An 80-year-old Bloomfield Hills woman reported the confrontation in the area of Wattles and Adams roads.

Officers with the Bloomfield Township Police Department investigated an
assault and battery complaint filed by a woman who said she was injured in a road rage incident earlier this week.
The 80-year-old victim from Bloomfield Hills said the incident started when the assailant's vehicle passed her in a no-passing zone on Nov. 4, reports said. She honked her horn in response, and at the next intersection of Wattles and Adams roads, the assailant stopped his vehicle and got out. He started to yell at the woman, and slammed her car door shut when she tried to open it to respond, reports said. The impact from the door broke one of the woman's fingers.
The man got back into his vehicle and drove away. A detailed physical description of the alleged assailant was not available. His vehicle was described as a small, white four-door sedan with a vanity plate containing the
letters “TY.”
