See Video of Good Samaritans Catch Armed Robbery Suspect in Bloomfield Township
Police released cell phone camera footage of two men who jumped into action and helped capture a knife-wielding assailant outside of the Hollywood Market last week.

Last week, we told you about the arrest officers with the Bloomfield Township Police Department made with the help of good samaritans who witnessed a shopper robbed at knifepoint on the township's north side.Â
See the two men held that held the suspect down outside the Hollywood Market while officers arrived in an interview with Channel 7, and footage of the confrontation captured on video by a witness with a cellphone recently released by the department.Â
"This guy came out of the store and he tackled her to the ground and we kept her there until police came," said Alfonso Laster, who was in his car with his wife when he saw the attacker the television station reported.
Shamekia Ballentine, 35, faces one count of armed robbery and one count of felonious assault for allegedly pulling a knife on a 56-year-old woman as she loaded groceries into her vehicle, police reports said. Ballentine remains in the Oakland County Jail on $250,000 bond pending a preliminary hearing.Â
