Suspect Sought in Bloomfield Township Identity Theft
The Bloomfield Township Police Department released a surveillance photo to try and further an ongoing investigation.

Investigators with the Bloomfield Township Police Department are asking for the public's help to identify a man they believe is tied to a recent identity theft involving a township resident.
The Department on Thursday released a surveillance video image of a person of interest in the case that was captured as he attempted to open a fraudulent account at the Nordstrom store at Partridge Creek, reports said. Although the application was denied, police said the victim's name was used to open numerous other accounts. Further details about the information was compromised were not immediately available.
Just last week, the department released surveillance video pictures of a woman shopping at a Target in Ypsilanti Township with credit cards obtained with information stolen from a Bloomfield Township mailbox. It is unclear if the cases are related and no arrests have been made.Â
Anyone that can identify the suspects or has information for police is encouraged to call 248-433-7755.
