What You Wanted And What You Got In Bloomfield Township

Many months ago, we asked what you wanted to see fill the vacancy left at the former Avenue store on Bloomfield Township's north side.

Responses ranged from a bookstore and Buy, Buy Baby, to a Cost Plus World Market, the closest of which is in Ann Arbor.

So what's moving into this pretty prime location at 2141 S. Telegraph Rd., next to the new Five Below and TJ Maxx?

A sign for Massage Envy, a chain of local affordable spas, recently went up on the building's facade. The business is franchisee-owned with closest locations in Rochester Hills and West Bloomfield.

A formal opening is expected later this month, company officials said.
