American Red Cross Blood Drive Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead
Here are five things to help fuel your week in Brighton.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Brighton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.
1. In the community
The next blood drive will be this Tuesday, September 17th, from noon until 5:45 pm. The drive will take place in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church of Brighton. All community members are invited to participate.
2. For your information
For National PREPAREDNESS month "Community CPR" at a special price, held at The Commons at 242 Community Church, Brighton. This class is for individuals or groups with no medical training and want to have the skills to respond to an emergency. Pre-registration is required, so see our flyer for details, give us a call or visit our website.
3. In case you missed it
Share your photos and show us the unique things that make visiting downtown Brighton so much fun.
4. Save the date
We welcome your talents, as an artist or a supporter! Also, at our annual meeting on October 2, we elect several new board members, so consider serving your community in an artful way! Visit our Web site at www.brightonartguild.com
5. For the kids
A perfect class for tweens/teens ages 10-15yrs...stretch, strengthen, relax, breathe, interact....and so much more! 4 consecutive Thursdays, 4:30-5:30pm, Sept. 19, 26, Oct. 3, 10. $12 walk in fee/$39 for all 4 classes. Reserve your spot now at 810-225-1288
