Brighton Homecoming and More this Weekend

Patch is here to make your life ridiculously easy, so as you sit down today and plan your weekend, here are some events you should know about in the Brighton area.

1. Brighton Homecoming game and parade

• When: Friday, Oct. 11 starting at 6 p.m.
• Where: Downtown Brighton to Brighton High School
• What: Homecoming game and parade. The 2013 Homecoming king and queen will be crowned during halftime events.

• When: Saturday, October 12 from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Where: Lingenfelter Car Collection
• What: Donations will be taken at the door for Shades of Pink Foundation of Michigan. Special Guest Brighton Harley Davidson. Fashion shows start at 11 a.m. featuring Impulse Boutique, Lady La's Boutique, Mariposa's Clothing and Accessories, and MF Mother Fletcher Vintage.

• When: Saturday, Oct. 12
• Where: Howell Court House
• What: Join the American Cancer Society at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer as we make strides for a world without breast cancer. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with the event start at 9 a.m.

• When: Saturday, Oct. 12 at 10 a.m.
• Where: Tanger Outlets in Howell
• What: There will be 50/50 raffle, door prizes, awards, DJ and much more. Registration closes at noon. Judging by Class with Awards at 3 p.m. All proceeds benefit Livingston County Salvation Army.
