Imagination Station Volunteer Day and More this Weekend

1. Imagination Station Volunteer Day

• When: Saturday, Sept. 14
• Where: Brighton Imagination Station
• What: Brighton's Imagination Station will be closed this upcoming weekend while volunteers work to help maintain the play structure.

• When: Sept. 14, 15 and 16
• Where: Downtown Highland
• What: Events include a square dance, "Run for Hope," Farmers Market, car & bike show, The Safari Man, a Petting Zoo, meet the service dogs, take an imaginary ride in a canoe or kayak, do crafts, get in the cake walk, ricochet through bounce city and have an ice cream. Adult entertainment with Magic Bus, the beer tent.

• When: Saturday, Sept. 14
• Where: Holy Spirit Church, 9565 Musch Road in Brighton
• What: Plan to attend a solemn memorial service at 1 pm. Memorial site is located on the east side of the church.  

• When: Saturday, Sept. 14 starting at 10 a.m.
• Where: Arise Church Community Park
• What: A complete dog show with events, games, dog themed vendors and  a doggie parade.
