Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil Plus More Tips for the Week Ahead

Here are five tips to help fuel your week in Brighton.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Hartland to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. Save the date

LACASA invites the public to the 17th annual Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil at the Livingston County Courthouse Amphitheater in downtown Howell on Tuesday at 7 pm.

2. For your information
During the month of October, Dr. Robert Moore at Awesome Chiropractic will be providing 1 free x-ray to screen for scoliosis in grade school children and younger.  Dr. Moore uses advanced upper cervical techniques and whole body vibration on the Vibe Plate to "re-train" the minds eye of the body.  

3. In the community
The meeting on October 10, will be with Carolyn Baetz who is currently the president of the Plymouth Garden Club and she will be speaking to us about "Labyrinth Gardens". Carolyn has been involved with a program similar to LACASA and has designed a Welcome Garden for the women's shelter and is currently developing a healing garden.
