Here's a quick survey of the lowest per-gallon prices for regular gasoline in the Brighton area as of Thursday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com:

3. Brighton Area Networking Group Meets

The Brighton Area Networking Group (BANG) meets today at at 8 a.m. to discuss job opportunities, business, investments, trends and current events. The goal of the group is to enhance the financial well being of the membership.

4. Wounded Veterans Benefit

Ladies Aux. VFW Post 4357 today from 5 p.m. -12 a.m. at The American Spirit Center to help Kyle Moser, who was severely injured in an explosion while on foot patrol in Afghanistan. The benefit includes a spaghetti dinner served from 5-8 p.m. for $8 and live music featuring two bands from 8 p.m.- Midnight. There is a $5 minimum donation for music only. Monetary donations also accepted. For more information call 810-599-2153.
