MI Mom Slips 'Help Me' Note Bank Teller, Daughter Arrested: Police
The 35-year-old daughter, a resident of Hamburg Township, was arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery, police said.
PINCKNEY, MI — A woman was arrested Tuesday after her mother passed a note to bank tellers asking for help from the drive-thru while they both sat in a car at a Livingston County bank, police said.
Employees at a bank in Pinckney told police they received a note that read "Help me Call 911" from an older woman who was with a younger woman in a car in one of their drive-thru lanes, police said.
Officers arrived at the bank and spoke to both women who were in the car, police said. Officers from Hamburg Township and the Livingston County Sheriff's Officer were also called in.

The 35-year-old daughter, a resident of Hamburg Township, was arrested and charged with attempted armed robbery. She was placed in jail with a $250,000 bond. Police did not reveal any additional details about the robbery.
"This incident began in Hamburg Township at the victim’s residence," police stated in a press release. "Without the help of an astute bank staff, this incident could have ended much worse."

Pinckney Police Chief Garrison added "we cannot allow abuse of our senior citizens, especially by family members."
