New Nothing Bundt Cakes Celebrates with Brighton Community

Kelly and Jerry Yurgo, along with Jerry’s sister Wendy Kinney have opened their third Nothing Bundt Cakes. Six years ago, they opened their first Nothing Bundt Cakes in Rochester Hills, followed by East Lansing and, now, they are excited to have opened in Brighton. “It is a great growing area and the people are fantastic,” said Jerry. “We have already received such a warm welcome.” The trio will celebrate their mid-January opening next week and the community is invited (see details below).

GRAND OPENING EVENTS

• Tuesday, February 25
  • Receive a Free Bundtlet with Purchase of One in bakery
  • 4 p.m. – Ribbon Cutting with the Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce
• Wednesday, February 26
  • Community Appreciation Day – The following will receive 20% off in-bakery cake purchases: Healthcare Workers, City Employees, Teachers and School Staff, First Responders and Military.
• Thursday, February 27
  • 9 a.m. – Free Confetti Bundtlets – Guests age 18+ will receive a Free Confetti Bundtlet at the bakery while supplies last (up to 300)
• Friday, February 28
  • Wounded Warrior Project Benefit Day – We are proud to support this organization that is striving to ensure that when those who serve come home, they’re afforded every opportunity to be as successful as a civilian as they were in the military.
• Saturday, March 1
  • Free Bundtlets for a Year for those who spend $40+ in bakery

Nothing Bundt Cakes is located at 9864 East Grand River Avenue and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The luscious cakes are baked daily using the finest ingredients, including real eggs, butter and cream cheese, in 40 unique designs and 10 delicious flavors.
