• Handy Twp. murder suspect returning to court in December (livingstondaily.com) — Several high-profile Livingston County criminal cases with ties to Brighton and nearby townships are moving forward, with key hearings and sentencings scheduled through early 2026. Among them are proceedings involving a former Brighton youth pastor, a Brighton man charged in a fatal hit-and-run, and a Brighton Township firebombing case, alongside other serious local assaults, homicides, and animal cruelty matters.
