Gray skies didn't keep people away downtown Brighton for the opening day of the Brighton Farmer's Market's 35th Season.

Vendors set up tents that housed everything from plants and flowers to wind chimes and soaps.

Kids enjoyed a romp in the mini bounce house, set up in the municipal parking lot, in front of the Brighton City Hall, as well as honey sticks from Turtlebee Honeytree Farms.
