Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Brighton.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Brighton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. In the community

The Ambassadors of the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce invite you to attend the 5th Annual Oktoberfeast Restaurant Crawl in Downtown Brighton. Come and enjoy a sample of Brighton as you taste your way through seven outstanding restaurants.

2. Save the date
On Tuesday, dog training classes will be held at Spencer Elementary School. Register online www.brightoncommunityed.com.

3. For your information
The Arc Expo is an event where people with disabilities and their family members can have a chance to learn about what resources are available in our community that support their involvement  and participation.

4. At the library
The Brighton District Library will offer a two-part workshop, October 19 and October 26 from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. for adults, teens and children that is based on the works of Henry David Thoreau, one of America’s foremost nature writers.

5. In case you missed it
Whether you're using a DSLR camera or a smart phone, we want to see your pictures from the Brighton High School homecoming celebrations this weekend.
