1. Smokin' Jazz Festival

• When: Sept. 6 and 7
• Where: Downtown Brighton
• What: A signature event for Brighton, the Smokin' Jazz Festival features talented musicians and food vendors smokin’ up the streets of Downtown Brighton.

• When: Sept. 7 at 8 a.m.
• Where: Downtown Brighton
• What: The annual event supports the 9-11 memorial, a project that began with community fundraising efforts in 2011 when the fire department traveled to New York and "brought back a piece of history."

• When: Sept. 7 at 8: 30 a.m.
• Where:  2101 S. Hacker Rd. Brighton
• What: Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran School is hosting their 3rd Annual Storm Run. All proceeds benefit our school expansion and scholarship fund.

• When: Sept. 7 at 10:30 a.m.
• Where: Bloom Baby & Kids
• What: Infant Chiropractic Care - Dr. Stephan Skalnican, Kor Chiropractic
