Summer Band Concerts and More Tips for the Week Ahead

Here are five pieces of information to help fuel your week in Brighton.

It's Monday, and that means we've put together this list of things going on in Brighton to help make your week a little brighter, easier and more fun. For a full list of things to do this week, look at the Patch calendar of events.

1. In case you missed it

As the senior class walked the halls for the last time today at Brighton High School, parents, grandparents, siblings and friends crowded the school giving the Class of 2013 a well-deserved send off.

2. Summertime fun
The Livingston County Concert Band will be performing a free Summer Concert every Tuesday.   All concerts start at 7:30 pm.  June 4, 11, 18, 25, July 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 concerts are at the Brighton Mill Pond Gazebo in downtown Brighton.  For more information, please visit our website (www.lccbmusic.org) or call 810-229-5991 or 810-227-8086.

3. For the kids
Children ages 5 and under are invited to a story time and art creation at the Imagination Station in downtown Brighton from 10-11:30. Each week will feature an engaging story and a creative art project. Extend the playdate and bring a picnic lunch! Facilitated by a member of the Bloom Baby and Kids staff.

4. Share your photos
Were you at the Rainbow Community Rally this past weekend? How about the Shamrock Run? There were plenty of things happening around Brighton over the weekend and would love to showcase them! Share your photos to our weekend planners and let's show everyone what a great community Brighton is!

5. For your information
440 Main is in the final stages of preparation for our Grand Opening and to help us get ready we are having an open recruiting event for all positions on June 3rd, 2013 from 11AM-3PM.
