Teen Killed In 3-Car Crash On I-96 In Detroit Area: Police
Police believe speed played a role in the crash, but do not know if drugs or alcohol were factors.

BRIGHTON, MI — A 19-year-old Detroit man was killed in a three-car crash on Interstate 96 in Brighton on Wednesday morning, according to Michigan State Police.
The crash happened at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday on westbound Interstate 96 near Kensington Road, according to police.
Troopers said the 19-year-old man was speeding over 100 miles per hour in a 2023 Chevy Malibu when he crossed lanes and struck another car.

Both drivers lost control of their cars and the Malibu flipped and struck a construction traffic trailer and another car, according to police.
