• Local organization develops scholarship for Saginaw area students (wnem.com) — Students living in the portion of Buena Vista served by Saginaw Public Schools are eligible for a new Saginaw Promise scholarship that helps cover tuition and fees at Michigan colleges, community colleges, and trade schools. Buena Vista seniors and recent grads must complete the Saginaw Community Foundation application and FAFSA by Feb. 13, 2026, and can use the award for up to six years after graduation.
