With winter demand running high and budgets tight, leaders say the funding will help cover everyday necessities while they continue relying on community support to keep vulnerable neighbors safe, warm, and stable.

Cadillac woman faces charges for stealing friend's vehicle in August incident (upnorthlive.com) — A 35-year-old Cadillac woman has been charged after allegedly taking a friend’s vehicle without permission in August, following an investigation by the Michigan State Police Cadillac Post. Prosecutors have filed an unlawful driving away charge, and she’s been arraigned in 84th District Court with another court date scheduled for December 16.
   

4. Sally Kay Yarbrough (wsjm.com) — A woman born in Cadillac is being remembered by family and friends after her passing at age 71 in Paw Paw. Loved for her devotion to family, animals, and MSU sports, she leaves behind her husband of 56 years, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Services will be held later, and memorial gifts are suggested for Shephard’s Doghouse in Hartford.
