• Microsoft seeks rezoning for potential data center in Gaines Township (wzzm13.com) — A proposed Microsoft rezoning in neighboring Gaines Charter Township could bring a large data center right up against Caledonia Township’s rural residential boundary. Township planners say the 40.5-acre Patterson Avenue site fits their master plan, and a key public hearing is set for Thursday, Dec. 18. Any approval would only change zoning for now, with specific building plans still to come.
