• $1M Powerball ticket sold in Cheboygan (detroitnews.com) — A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold at Court Street Party Market on Court Street in Cheboygan, and the lucky player hasn’t yet been publicly identified. The drawing for the much larger $1.1 billion jackpot is set for Monday night, and residents can still buy tickets and optional add-ons like Power Play and Double Play across Michigan.
   

• Rep. Cavitt recognizes Cheboygan intern for his contributions to the 106th district (gophouse.org) — A Cheboygan native, Zachary VanFleet, has wrapped up his internship with State Rep. Cam Cavitt and was formally honored on the Michigan House floor for his work. VanFleet, a graduate of Cheboygan Area High School, assisted with research, communications, and constituent services, which Cavitt says strengthened service to residents across the 106th District and Northern Michigan.
