Clooney in 'The Ides of March': Are You Going to See it?

Michiganders are flocking to local theaters to see The Ides of March starring George Clooney on the big screen. It's sort of a big deal since film crews were in Michigan this past March filming scenes throughout metro Detroit, . 

The Ides of March is a political drama about a presidential campaign starring Clooney as Gov. Mike Morris, Ryan Gosling as Stephen Meyers and Marisa Tomei as Ida Horowicz. Clooney is also the film's director.

In a Detroit News review, film critic Tom Long says, "With its spectacular cast, scathing script and right-now topicality, The Ides of March is sharp, timely entertainment."

In the end, Long gives the Ides of March a Grade B.
