Donors Give Blood at City Hall
The American Red Cross blood drive will run through 7 p.m. today.

Representatives from the American Red Cross are hoping to collect at least 23 pints of blood today at a Clawson blood drive.
The drive started at 1 p.m. and will run through 7 p.m. in the community room. As of 2:15 p.m., eight donors had given blood. Each person can donate one pint of blood, which saves one life, said Kelley Delong, a spokeswoman for the American Red Cross.
Delong said walk-ins are welcome and the process of donating blood takes about one hour. There is still time left; the Red Cross takes its last appointment at 6:45 p.m.
