Flag Honors Fallen Heroes of 9/11
The American Flag & Banner store in Clawson is selling special flags for the 10th anniversary of 9/11.

Of all the flags Bill Miles sells in Clawsonβs , one of the newest additions stands out. Thatβs because it pays tribute to the 10th anniversary of 9/11, listing all of the emergency officials who died trying to save others. The Flag of Heroes hangs proudly in the downtown store next to a flag that honors those who died during the attacks. Miles said he ordered the flags from the New Jersey-based Annin Flagmakers. While Miles hasnβt sold too many of the 10th anniversary flags, he expects more customers to stop in the store as 9/11 nears.
βAmericans, or anybody, loves anniversaries,β said Miles, the store owner. βWe are thinking that after Labor Day there is going to be a big rush.β
The Flag of Heroes has all the names written in red ink with words at the bottom of the flag. βNow and forever it represents their immorality,β the flag reads. "We shall never forget them."
