For Sale: County Foreclosed Property Auction Tuesday Includes One Clawson Lot

A house on Renshaw Avenue will be auctioned off Tuesday as part of the Oakland County Treasurer's Office Foreclosed Property Sale.

One local house will go on sale Tuesday in the Oakland County Treasurer's Office semiannual Foreclosed Property Sale.

The sale of this lot and others will begin at 9 a.m. in the Commissioners Auditorium at 1200 N. Telegraph Ave. in Pontiac.

The Clawson property is a residential home located at 245 Renshaw Ave. with a minimum bid of $14,031.01.

All properties in the auction are being foreclosed in their third year of tax delinquency.

Bidders must register with the Treasurer's office, which can be done on the day of the auction. It is also the bidder's responsibility to research properties before the auction by visiting the local government office to see if the property has issues such as environmental damage or special tax assessments.
