The lowest area gas price has held steady at $3.49, the same price it was in last Monday's fuel report. The five lowest prices for a gallon of gas range from $3.49-$3.55.

The average price for a gallon of gas in Detroit is $3.53, up 1 cent since last week. The statewide average is now $3.58, according to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report.
