1. Fish Fry
Where/when: from 4:30-7 p.m. Friday

Why go: All-you-can-eat baked and fried fish, crab cakes, macaroni and cheese, baked or fried potatoes, rolls, vegetables, dessert and a beverage.
Price: $8 adults, $7.50 seniors, $4.50 children

Where/when: from 8:30 a.m.-noon Sunday
Why go: All-you-can-eat eggs, sausage, pancakes, french toast, coffee and orange juice. All proceeds will go to charity.
Price: $5 adults, $4 seniors, $3 children
3. Auto Auction
Where/when: A&M Towing, 303 E. Harrison Ave. in Royal Oak, 9:30 a.m. Saturday
Why go: The cities of Royal Oak and Berkley will hold a combined auto auction at A&M Towing. Approximately 50 vehicles ranging from 1981- 2008 will be auctioned. This auction is cash only.
Where/when: , 261 E. Nine Mile Rd. in Ferndale, 11:45 p.m. Friday.
Why go: Enjoy music? Enjoy comedy? Audience members get to choose the title, and the improvisers have to create a 45-minute musical based on that. This crazy cast will make you want to get up and sing and dance ... or not.
Price: $5
Where/when: , Marais Avenue and Lexington Boulevard in Royal Oak, 10 a.m. Saturday
Why go: The Royal Oak Nature Society invites everyone out to Tenhave Woods to learn about pond life. The society will sample the vernal pond and find out what is living in it. Participants may also capture some pond life and have the society identify what they caught.
