Moms Talk: How Can Parents Help With Their Child's Education?

With the start of school just a month away, some parents may be exploring ways to get involved in the schools this year.

According to the National Coalition for Parent Involvement in Education, parent involvement is important.

When parents get involved, the coalition says, "students do better in school and in life, parents become empowered, teacher morale improves, schools get better, and communities grow stronger."
