OAKLAND COUNTY, MI (August 8, 2023) – Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN)
welcomes Yolanda Giles, M.D. and Pastor Douglas P. Jones to their Board of Directors.
Dr. Yolanda Giles serves as the Medical Director of Outpatient and Children’s Services for Hope
Network. Prior to this role, she spent her fellowship training and career working within the public
mental health system as an educator and provider. Dr. Giles has a passion for educating and
empowering individuals and families who face challenges associated with mental illness.
Dr. Giles received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan, and
Medical Doctorate from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Giles believes that
serving on the OCHN board will allow her to expand her reach and provide a unique perspective
and voice within the community she resides and loves.
Pastor Douglas P. Jones is a pillar for the Pontiac, MI community and has served as Pastor of
Welcome Missionary Baptist Church of Pontiac, MI since 1989. Pastor Jones sits on several
boards and has been recognized by many organizations for the effort and energy he puts into
the community.
Pastor Jones is heavily involved with our community’s youth and has established Ministries for
Young Men Making a Difference, the Teen Esteem Ministry, a Domestic Violence Ministry, and
many more programs to help the greater Pontiac community.
