Police say they were responding to reports of possible fireworks, gunshots or a transformer failure in the neighborhood. After speaking with residents, the officers scouted the neighborhood and at about 2:13 a.m., they saw a bright light flash outside a home on Park Drive and heard an M-80 go off, reports say.
