Video: Clawson Still Feels Impact of 9/11
Officials, residents, a business owner and a pastor talk about how the attacks resonate 10 years later.

It's been 10 years since the United States experienced a series of terror attacks that claimed the lives of nearly 3,000 people on Sept. 11, 2001. But, to many people, it still feels like yesterday.
Clawson residents and leaders told Patch their everyday lives still are being impacted by the 9/11 attacks. They are reminded of 9/11 when they travel, when they read reports of how Muslims are treated and even when they see suspicious behavior in the community. One thing many people seem to agree on is that the 9/11 attacks united our nation.Β
If nothing else, take a moment of silence today to remember those killed in the attacks and the heroes who perished or put themselves at risk while trying to save lives on Sept. 11.
