Week Ahead: Corn Roast, Open House, Babysitters Workshop and More

There's a lot going on in Clawson this week. Here are five things you should know as you go about your week.

It's a busy week in Clawson, as usual. What do you have planned?

Here are five things you should know as you go about your week:

1. Clawson Eagles #3926 Annual Corn Roast: 
Clawson Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3926 is holding its annual corn roast during the Down on Main street car show this Saturday, from 12 noon to 7 p.m. Proceeds from the corn roast are for the benefit of FOE charities and a donation is made in the support of the Clawson Lions Club fundraising efforts. 2. Intense Personal Training Open House: Intense Personal Training (834 W. 14 Mile Rd.) is celebrating its fifth anniversary with an open house this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Snacks will be available. For more information, visit intensept.com.

3. Babysitters Workshop: Sixth-graders and up are invited to the Blair Memorial Library (416 N. Main St.) this Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. A registered nurse, police officer and firefighter will speak about how to handle emergencies, fire safety and child care basics. 4. Clawson City Council Meeting: A regular meeting, as well as an informal coffee session, will be held on Monday night at the City Hall Community Room (425 N. Main St.). Among the topics on the agenda are a resolution to place an additional 0.8482 mills tax levy proposal for garbage and rubbish collection and disposal services before the

5.
