Clinton Township Ice Sculptor Takes Fifth Place in Amateur Contest at Utica Ice Fest
Macomb Community College student Al Bock took fifth place for his ice sculpture in the individual collegiate ice carving competition at the 2013 Utica Ice Festival.
A Clinton Township resident and Macomb Community College culinary arts student was one of four MCC sculptors to place in last weekend's individual collegiate ice carving competition at the Utica Ice Festival.
Al Bock, who took fifth place for his ball sculpture, is no stranger to carving competition. On Jan. 20, Bock and fellow MCC student Brad Groszkiewicz placed third in the Plymouth Ice Festival's annual college team carving competition.
Groszkiewicz of Sterling Heights also competed in Utica, taking third place for his sculpture, Cascading Spheres.
