Got Milk? Man Shoplifts 51 Cans of Baby Formula Over 2 Days in Clinton Township

A 23-year-old man was arrested for retail fraud Feb. 23 after Walmart employees told police he shoplifted 51 cans of baby formula over the course of two days.

Walmart loss prevention told Clinton Township police the man entered the Hall Road store five times between Feb. 20 and Feb. 21, concealing several cans of baby forumla inside his clothes on each visit.

He wore the same clothes each time and made no attempt to pay for any of the items, according to police.

When the man returned on Feb. 23, Walmart loss prevention detained him. He was found with eight cans of formula on his person. He was arrested for retail fraud.

Police say he stole a total of 51 cans of formula, a $788 value, during his two-day shoplifting spree.
