Harbours Apartments to Collect Clothes, Essentials for Those Affected by Friday Fire
Through the Labor Day weekend, The Harbours Apartments will collect clothes, shoes and anything else individuals would like to donate in the complex's clubhouse for those impacted by the fire.

At least 15 apartments were significantly damaged or altogether destroyed in the on Hall Road Friday.
As a result, numerous residents, including families with small children, lost even the most basic needs, such as clothes, shoes and personal hygiene products.
Almost immediately after Patch posted its first stories on the blaze, readers began reaching out with questions on how they could help those affected.

Harbours resident and Payless employee Rebecca Frohriep told Patch she plans to use her company's charitable program to purchase as many shoes as she can in the days to come.
"I'm very affected by this," Frohriep said. "My heart goes out to them."

Other area residents have also expressed an interest in helping those impacted by the fire by purchasing clothes, school supplies and other basic needs that were destroyed by fire, or the associated smoke and water.
Through the Labor Day weekend, The Harbours Apartments will collect clothes, shoes and anything else individuals would like to donate in the complex's clubhouse. The clubhouse is located at 44565 Bayview Ave, Clinton Township, just off Hall Road and Heydenreich.
Harbours staff suggest contacting the rental office at 888-3364165 for more information in regard to specific needs.
"We will accept donations of any kind for the residents in need," wrote Jen Mroz, an employee at the Harbours corporate offices on the complex's Facebook page.
