Harley Driver Killed In Crash

A Macomb Township man died after a Wednesday afternoon crash on 23 Mile Road.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — A 56-year-old Macomb Township man died Wednesday after his motorcycle crashed into a RV motorhome on 23 Mile Road. Kevin Michael Emery died when the motorhome pulled out from a business onto westbound 23 Mile Road, according to a Macomb County Sheriff’s Office news release.

The crash happened at approximately 5:30 p.m. Emery was driving a Harley Davidson and was wearing his helmet at the time of the accident, according to the release. He was was also heading westbound on 23 Mile Road, between North Avenue and Card Road in Macomb Township.

Emery died on the scene, police said. The driver of the RV motorhome was not injured. The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the incident and didn’t indicate if the RV driver could face charges in connection with accident.
