L’Anse Creuse Interviews Three Superintendent Finalists
Interviews will be open to the public and time has been allotted for community questions.

From L’Anse Creuse Public Schools: The L’Anse Creuse Public Schools Board of Education voted to invite Superintendent for Capac Community Schools Dr. Stephen Bigelow, Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education for L’Anse Creuse Public Schools Erik Edoff and Superintendent for Aramada Area Schools Michael Musary for second interviews on February 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Bigelow has served as the superintendent of Capac Community Schools for two years. Previous to this position, he was a principal at Cousino High School and Carlton Middle School. He also held positions as assistant principal and teacher in the Warren Consolidated School District. He holds a Ph.D. and Ed.S. (Educational Specialist) in Educational Leadership from Oakland University; a MPA (Master’s in Public Administration) from University of Michigan – Dearborn; and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from University of Michigan.
Edoff has served as the assistant superintendent for secondary education at L’Anse Creuse Public Schools for two years and executive director for secondary education for two years. Previous to those positions he was the senior director of the Pankow instructional programs. He also held positions of associate principal and teacher in L’Anse Creuse Public Schools. He holds an Ed.S. (Educational Specialist) in Educational Leadership from Oakland University; a Master of Science in K-12 Administration from Michigan State University; and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Kalamazoo College.

Musary has served as the superintendent of Aramada Area Schools for five years and assistant superintendent for 16 years. Previous to those positions, he was the director of financial services for South Bend Community Schools and a senior financial analyst for General Motors. He holds an Ed.S. (Educational Specialist) in School Administration from Oakland University; a MBA (Master’s in Business Administration) from Ball State University; and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Purdue University.
Each candidate is assigned to a specific day for meetings with various employment groups, a tour of the district and a final interview. The interview is open to the public and time has been allotted for community questions.

- February 1: Dr. Stephen Bigelow at Green Elementary School from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
- February 2: Michael Musary at the Wheeler Center from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
- February 3: Erik Edoff at the Wheeler Center from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
