Missing Clinton Township Teen Found

A Clinton Township teen missing since Saturday has been located by authorities.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A Clinton Township teenager that went missing June 3 has been located. Danny Pfeffer, 17, was found by authorities in California late Monday, according to a media report.

Clinton Township Police Lt. Eric Reincke said the teenager is safe and his parents have been notified, the Fraser-Clinton Township Chronicle reported Tuesday. No other details about his disappearance were given by police.

Pfeffer, a recent Fraser High graduate, was last seen by his father at about 8 a.m. on Saturday morning. In a Facebook post, Robert Pfeffer said his son was last seen in the area of 14 Mile and Hayes roads in Fraser.

While worrisome to his parents, the unannounced trip to California was legal. “(Danny’s) missing, but considered a missing adult,” Reincke told the Fraser-Clinton Township Chronicle . “You can freely leave. … The family is concerned for his well-being, and this is out of character for him so they’re trying to locate him obviously. We’re trying to assist them with that.”
