Police Identify Body Found In Vents At Macomb County College Building
Investigators do not suspect any foul play.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI β Police have identified a body that was found Sunday in the ventilation system inside a Macomb Community College building as a 36-year-old Clinton Township resident.
Police said the body is Jason Anthony Thompson, who was last seen by his family on Oct. 25 and reported missing on Nov. 1.
Officials found the body while looking for the source of a foul odor at the Macomb Center for the Performing Arts at the college's Center Campus building, located at Hall and Garfield roads in Clinton Township, police said.

Police do not know why Thompson was in the ventilation system and do not suspect any foul play. The investigation is ongoing.
"At this point, it is important to remember that this an ongoing investigation, with the goal to understand the circumstances," police said in a statement. "We are withholding the individualβs identification until we can make proper family notifications. Our deepest condolences go out to his family."
