Police Seek Info In Fatal Thursday Morning Shooting
A Clinton Township man is dead and another woman injured after a shooting in Mt. Clemens early Thursday morning.
MT. CLEMENS, MI — Police are looking for information about a shooting in Mt. Clemens early this morning that left one man dead and a woman in the hospital. According to police, Macomb County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the area of Court and Clemens streets for shots fired at around 12:20 a.m. Thursday.
They reportedly found a large crowd of people gathered and two people who had been shot: 24-year-old Clinton Township man Charlie McGowan, who died from the injuries, and a 26-year-old woman, also from Clinton Township. Police gave no update on her condition.
Authorities are investigating the incident and are hoping witnesses can help put the pieces together in the deadly shooting. Anyone with information regarding this incident contact the Detective Bureau at 586-307- 9358.
