‘Pot’-Belly Teddy Bear Lands Teen in Clinton Township Cuffs
This information was supplied by the Clinton Township Police Department, where arrests or charges are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

It was the unconventional stuffing of a small, brown teddy bear that landed its 17-year-old owner in handcuffs this week, according to Clinton Township police.
Officers arrested the teen March 12 for possession after an adviser at his Clinton Township high school found a teddy bear filled with marijuana in his backpack, police say.
The discovery came after the adviser noticed the smell of burnt marijuana on the teen and his bloodshot eyes.

Four baggies of marijuana, which the teen admitted to police were his, were found in a mason jar that had been stuffed in the bear through a hole in its neck, according to the police report.
The teen was arrested and transported to the police station where he was issued a violation pending the issue of a warrant.
