A weekly newspaper serving Metro Detroit, Real Detroit Weekly asks readers each year to nominate and vote for their favorite businesses in dozens of categories. The votes are tallied and each February, the "Best in Metro 
Detroit" guide is released.

This year, businesses in Clinton Township snagged several of the top spots.

• Best Bang For Your Buck – Big Boy

• Best Coney Island – National

• Best Mexican – Rojo

• Best Restaurant for Pasta – Luciano's

• Best Place For A New Band To Get A Gig – The Detroit Pub

• Best Overall Salon – Bianchi's Salon

• Best Place to Buy Chocolate/Candies – Sanders (Morley Candy Factory)

• Best Men's Haircut – Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men

• Best Bank – Chase

Other popular chains to take top honors include Jimmy John's for best delivery, McDonald's for best fast food, Jet's for best pizza delivery and Little Caesars for best quality for the money.
