Three Arraigned In Homicide Of Clinton Township Man
The victim in the case, Clinton Township man James Capizzo, died of a gunshot wound to the head.

MT. CLEMENS, MI β Three Macomb County individuals were arraigned in the homicide of a Clinton Township man, according to a press release. The victim at the center of the case, 44-year-old James Capizzo of Clinton Township, was found lying in the snow outside of a Mt. Clemens home with a gunshot wound to the head on Dec. 26.
Capizzo died of his injuries on Dec. 28. Deputies believe based on evidence and witness accounts that this was a robbery that went terribly wrong.
Christopher Rashawn Jones, 27, of Mt. Clemens is charged with four counts: Homicide β Felony Murder, Robbery β Armed, Weapons β Felony Firearm, and Weapons β Firearms β Possession by Felon.

Randy James Mahaffey, 27, of Clinton Township is charged with one count of robbery - armed.

Ashley Lachell Redmond, 25, of Mt. Clemens is charged with one count of being an Accessory After-the-Fact to A Felony - a five year felony.

The three were video-arraigned in the 41B District Court of Clinton Township. Jones was held without bond, Mahaffey was given a $500,000 cash-or- surety bond and Redmond was given a $5,000 personal bond.
The trio are due back in court on Jan. 11 at 8:30 a.m.
