UPDATE: Boy Found Returned to Father
Three-year-old boy found wandering near 16 Mile Road and Harper Avenue returned home to father.

A three-year-old boy found wandering near the intersection of 16 Mile Road and Harper Avenue Tuesday, Oct. 27, was returned home safely.
According to a report in the Macomb Daily, officers found the child wandering in during rush hour Tuesday morning, dressed in clothing that was inappropriate for the weather conditions.
Plans officers had to drive the boy around the area hoping he would be able to point out his home werenβt successful.
Officers next checked houses in the area and eventually wound up at the Metro Woods apartment complex on Harper Avenue, south of Metropolitan Parkway.
A manger at the complex led police to a single father who resided in the complex with his small son.
Police phoned the man who said he was at a job interview and had left the boy with the childβs uncle, assuring police the door was locked when he left the apartment.
The uncle was sleeping, police told the Macomb Daily, when the father phoned him Tuesday morning.
Officials notified Macomb County Child Protective Services, who sent a representative to the apartment.
CPS concluded the incident was and accident and no charges will be filed against the boyβs father or uncle.
