Dearborn, Chippewa Valley to Meet in Prep Kickoff Classic
Pioneers and Big Reds will play high school football opener at Wayne State on Aug. 24.
The football team will kick off the 2012 season against Chippewa Valley in the Detroit Sports Commission Prep Kickoff Classic at Wayne State University on Friday, Aug. 24, according to a press release.
Dearborn and Chippewa Valley will play for the third straight season. The Pioneers won both games, including a 29-28 overtime victory over the Big Reds in 2011.
This year, Dearborn and Chippewa Valley will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Aug. 24 at Tom Adams Field in Wayne State.

The Detroit Sports Commission Prep Kickoff Classic formerly was called the Big Day Prep Showdown.
