INKSTER, MI — A man was fatally shot by his girlfriend Monday morning at a Wayne County apartment complex, according to local news reports.

Police said the shooting happened at 5 a.m. at The Flats on Colgate near John Daly in Inkster.

Investigators believe there was an argument that led to the shooting, reports said.

The girlfriend was arrested in connection with the shooting, reports said.
