Dearborn officials on Tuesday announced the return of a pair of summer events.

DEARBORN, MI β€” Some annual downtown summer events in Dearborn are returning as the state slowly returns economically and socially from the coronavirus pandemic.

Dearborn officials on Tuesday announced the return of the Dearborn Farmer's Market, beginning July 10 and the return of the Movies in the Park series, beginning Aug. 7. Officials said the events will be tailored to follow suggested local and state safety guidelines.

β€œWith the lifting of the stay-at-home order, we’re happy we can bring back these family favorites to Downtown Dearborn this summer in a manner that is safe and comfortable for our guests,” said Cristina Sheppard-Decius, executive director of the East and West Dearborn Downtown Development Authorities.
