Dearborn Hosts Beer Tasting Event At Museum

It's time for the 6th annual beer tasting fundraiser at the McFadden-Ross House.

DEARBORN, MI — The Museum Guild of Dearborn’s sixth-annual beer-tasting fundraiser brews up at the McFadden-Ross House, 915 S. Brady St., on Friday, Sept. 28, from 5-11 p.m. The ticket includes admission, live entertainment, and the first eight sample-sized beers from local Wayne County breweries. There will also be wine and root beer.

The breweries will be Dearborn Brewing, Downey Brewing, Atwater Brewery, Saugatuck Brewing Company and Fieldstone Winery. Advance tickets cost $20 online or $25 at the door, and include the first eight sample-sized cups of beer, wine or A & W root beer. Guests with appetites will enjoy offerings from a local food truck and the beats from The Bomb Squad, a popular cover band that has played the event before.

Free parking is available at the museum and Ford Field Park, where there is a free shuttle service to and from the event. Get your tickets at the Museum Office, online at www.thedhm.com, or at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Dearborn Historical Museum educational programs.
